Sarah Palin....what a woman!

Sarah Palin…..what can I say about this woman?  Her speech last night was beyond spectacular.  It was rich in content for sure, but her delivery and her tone were as spot on as possible.

She is a totally relatable woman…one I can see myself sitting next to in the stands or dropping off girl scout cookies to.  And yet I can also see throwing back tequila and talking about our hot husbands and giggling like girls.

Hilary Clinton, regardless of how abhorrent I find her character and politics, I find her impossible to relate to.  She is smacks of East Coast elitism and snobbery.  She has one child and had endless household help.  I can not see myself cheering from the side of the field-hockey field with her.  A discussion of “taking care of our men” would be laughable and frankly, creepy.

But Sarah…damn.  This chick is the bomb!!!

Fuck bringing home the bacon, she brings home the pig, turns it into bacon, fries it with a baby on her hip and then does her man proper...

I am damn glad to be a woman and she can have my back in a bar fight any day.

Virginia State Delegate Vows To Show Testicles To General Assembly… No Kidding

"I'm going to do it," Spruill told a handful of reporters after Tuesday's House session adjourned. "I'm going to bring them out here and show them to you till they tell me to stop."

That is what Virginia State Delegate Lionel Spruill said to reporters when he explained that he was indeed going to show his testicles to the Virginia General Assembly. Spruill bought these testicles for $24.95 and plans to use them to demonstrate how these items can be a distraction to drivers when slung under vehicle trailer hitches.  Read on…

State Del. Lionel Spruill introduced a bill Tuesday to ban displaying replicas of human genitalia on vehicles, calling it a safety issue because it could distract other drivers.

Under his measure, displaying the ornamentation on a motor vehicle would be a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum fine of $250.

Spruill is, as I have stated before, a member of the General Assembly for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Continue…

He said the idea came from a constituent whose young daughter spotted an example of the trail hitch adornment and asked her father to explain it.

"'I didn't know what to tell her,'" Spruill said the constituent told him before Spruill vowed to stop such displays.

"I said, 'Sir, I'm going to be a laughingstock, but I'm going to do it,'" he said.

Yeah, I guess I can understand that. It’s bad enough that people have some of the crudest remarks and every variety of urinating Calvins emblazoned on their rear windows, do we have to look at mock testicles now also? Does one really need to advertise their lack of self esteem by displaying genitalia that they fear they might not have? Anyway, if you want to read the rest of the story here’s the link.
