Thanks, kids, for the traffic coming from the angry left. It is always helpful to have searing reminders of who they really are should I ever grow complacent (not to mention the fun of reading such truly weird notes....I feel a little like Jane Goodall in crazy-town...who knew there were so many perverts and weirdos out there!)
And the emailed love notes? Wow...what can I say?! The concern for my love life would be almost endearing were it not so creepy, and detailed and frankly unimaginative.
Men of the left, I think that you need to call N.O.W. right now,and get a refresher course on the left's approach to women...sexually explicit and aggressive attempts to silence a woman you don't agree with is surely not in the manual.
Besides...shouldn't you all be dancing a jig right about now? You won the election. Your BDS is coming to an end. Your prince is being anointed. Why still so darn unhappy and bitter?
Now, before I go and wipe my tears of anguish at the spittle and venom coming my way I say to you lefties simply,
Your mother is a hamster and your father smells of elderberries.
Your mother is a hamster and your father smells of elderberries.
Smelt the line is "smelt of elderberries"!
For god's sake, woman, if you're going to try to outFrench us lefties, you could at least be accurate!
Oops. Forgot who I was talking to. My apologies...

A holy grail reference? I love me some nerdy conservative girls! Please consider my offer of a date in the previous thread. I am sure that it's far more classy than the creepy email love notes you've received.

You're badly outclassed here, KabukiKatie. It's best that you move on.
BTW, if you think Obama is the "prince" of the "angry left" you really don't know us very well.
We usually prefer candidates with names along the line of Karl Trotsky Kim Friedrich Mao Guevara Uncle Ho Marx Engels Lenin Josef Muthafuckin' Stalin (Commie-Commieland).
Captain Centrist ain't exactly freeing the workers...

Yes actor...I know it was done in MP in the past tense...I simply wanted present tense...because it is an active smelling...as in you currently, right this second, smell...
But thank you for the kind scolding and the surely impossible lefty need to always end with personal insult. At least you are consistent.
And BTW..I fart in your general direction...

A stutter commie pinko? Twice as nice I suppose.
And class is never something I worry about from the left, but cheers....
Posted by: katie | November 21, 2008 at 01:26 PM
Karl,
That is so sweet...you left out driving a big old SUV down 5th aveune and tooling the Bronx in a Benz and laughing at the little people while sipping rare cognac and smoking Cuban cigars.
Mr. Kabuki, however, would not approve...
Posted by: katie | November 21, 2008 at 01:28 PM
Who besides a simplepinko would think of calling a slew of mass-murdering butchers “candidates”?
If only they were brave enough to stand up and be that honest, in front of people, and before an election, and not only from the dungeons where they sling their poo from.
This must be what is meant by the term "outclassed", poo slinging. That's the only way it could ever apply to the left.

I don't know why you deleted my comments. I asked a respectful question. I don't understand why conservative say they want dialog with liberals but then are unable to do so, and then they blame us. I don't get it.
I've tried to talk to conservatives before. I ask a simple question and it get banned. Seems like hypocrisy to me.
Posted by: noen | November 21, 2008 at 02:42 PM
I cant' stop laughing. Now we have Frenchy liberals.
You nauseate each other, you know that and we know that, you are all so trendy and silly looking. Class? You wouldn't know class if it hit you in the face. You live in your liberal la la land, and you're all so boring and smarmy.
Actor 212:
We laugh at silly little liberals like you all the time and we have such a good time when we do!!! Now we can add the "frenchy liberal" to our hilarious fun.
Posted by: bevperl | November 21, 2008 at 02:51 PM
Noen, do you feel slighted? Ever so sorry...as you can see there are loads of comments here and not all of them are warm and fuzzy...
Please do repost them...I do not have a filter or approval on, they should post and stay there...
And dialogue? Oh yes please do...as you can see, your commrades are all into the dialgoue thing here...
What questions shall I answer for you?
Posted by: katie | November 21, 2008 at 02:53 PM
Karl back off of my babe jackass!!! And no I am not her husband, I am the guy who is first in line, God forbid something was to happen to the guy I envy.
And to all you communist pukes....
I am not an elite, I am not working class, I AM WARRIOR CLASS!!! And I would be happy to meet up with you and fulfill the oath I took when I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic!!
Posted by: Howie | November 21, 2008 at 03:31 PM
comsympinko that is an invitation for you, if you are a woman it is an invitation to your boyfriend/fiance/partner/husband/housebitch to come meet my classless ass in the field of manly combat!!

"there are loads of comments here and not all of them are warm and fuzzy"
Other people are not me.
"as you can see, your commrades are all into the dialgoue thing here"
Well no, they aren't into dialog because they've decided it isn't possible. Past experience seems to bear this out so maybe I'm just being silly.
"What questions shall I answer for you?"
What's up with all the hate? And I don't understand the attraction to idiots like Jonah or the rest of the crew at NR. How can anyone take that nonsense seriously? The only explanation I can think of is that they tell their readers what they want to hear. They give them reasons, however flimsy, to hate "liberals". Even then it's just a caricature, a projection of their own fear and not reality.
Thanks.
Posted by: noen | November 21, 2008 at 10:04 PM
Wow Katie, you attract liberals looking for love. I'm impressed.
No one hates liberals noen, mostly we just look at people who stand for nothing, with complete disbelief. But I second Katie. You should be out somewhere jumping for joy. You won it all. The government is yours. Why aren't you happier?
Posted by: Jane | November 22, 2008 at 10:08 AM
"No one hates liberals noen"
I see a great deal of pure hatred directed towards liberals in the media, especially Fox, and also on the internet and in real life.
"we just look at people who stand for nothing, with complete disbelief"
Then you know nothing about liberals or progressives or anyone else not a conservative extremist.
"Why aren't you happier?"
I am happy, very much so. Why do you assume that I'm unhappy? Everyone one I know is over joyed at the prospect of finally getting rid Bush and even happier at the prospect conservative extremists will be marginalized for a very long time.
Posted by: noen | November 22, 2008 at 02:30 PM
Hello Katie!
Wow! What an interesting bunch of people you have visiting your village. Amazing how the liberals all have a desire to dialogue as long as they get to do all the talking.
Amazing how many of the liberals you attract, immediately stoop to name-calling when they don't agree with you and it upsets their view of the world as they think it should be.
Posted by: Chief | November 22, 2008 at 05:01 PM
noen,
Based on what you said above, I'd take bets that you have never watched Fox.
Then you know nothing about liberals or progressives or anyone else not a conservative extremist.
So what do you stand for?
I am happy, very much so.
You don't sound it.
Posted by: Jane | November 23, 2008 at 04:36 AM
"So what do you stand for?"
I believe in capitalism but as we have seen there needs to regulations in place to avoid market crashes like we're seeing now. I also believe that we should do collectively those things we cannot do singly. So I believe in such socialist programs as public education, public health care, social security and Medicare. Public services such as electricity, sewage, water, public roads and transportation like buses and light rail and so on.
I believe in classical liberalism and therefore I am for social equality, women's suffrage, racial equality including affirmative action, equality and nondiscrimination for gays including marriage. All of these are opposed by conservative extremists. Especially the National Review.
I am for a reduced military. We don't need to be the bully of the world. I'm for alternative energy including nuclear. We need to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. I'm also for doing something about global warming. Cap and trade if that works but we've got to do something.
Most of all I am very pro Obama. I think he'll be one of the truly great presidents in our history but there's a lot of work to do. Finally, I believe in Obama's message of change, we need to change the hateful dialog in this nation.
(pro tip: Use quotation marks when you wish to quote someone. It's easy and fun!)
Posted by: noen | November 23, 2008 at 04:50 PM
Hi Jane. You are a clear thinker. I have been reading National Review since 1993 and have gained a great knowledge and wisdome from it. Allow me to respond to your post.
Market corrections are a needed part of capitalism and crashes are painful but cannot be avoided. An example is the Tulip Bubble in Holland a few hundred years ago.
Should we all be compelled to add to the collective good? Most conservatives are for federalism on public and social programs. Let cities, counties, and States administer them. If corruption occurs, then people can vote with their feet, as V.Lenin said, and move to another area.
Is social equality really ever possible? The playing field is never level. Why are some born to riches and others in Rwanda? The American Revolution was for freedom, the French for equality. Which one was better short and long term? One led to a 219 year Constitutional Govt. and prosperity, the other lead to Robespierre, Thermidorian reactions, and Napoleon. Edmund Burke called it right in 1790. He said stick with the family, not the government.
NR is for women's suffrage. We have many strong, opinionated women writers. Extra enervation between women's corpus callosum tends to make women smarter in many ways. We love smart women. They smell better than men too.
Racial equality is a worthy goal. Watch that equality word. Humans all have unequal talents. Affirmative Action and Quotas diminish a groups standing and respect.
Gay marriage and discrimination. Could one say left wingers discriminate against Christians? How about Hitler [ yes he was a national socialist ], Stalin, Mao, and Ho. How well did these athiest left wingers treat minorities? If you defend gay marriage, then what is wrong with polygamy or incest. A little discernment and discrimination are vital. They are present in you and me. Gays deserve the same individual legal rights as anyone. No caring person should be against two people loving each other. Just don't make me watch two guys french kissing, two ladies, well that is better.
Reduced military did help Clinton's budget in the 1990's. Did it have long range costs? Our navy controls most vital sea lanes to allow world trade, similar to the British Navy of old. Was Harry Truman wrong to protect Berlin? Was FDR wrong to fight Japan and Hitler? Was Reagan wrong to restore military spirit and funding? He and Thatcher were most responsible for beating the Soviets. Are we really a bully? Our ideals and ideas are the best in the history of man. Do you want Sharia law? Muslim terrorist's may not allow you to own a computer. Our military protects your freedom. Be careful in your reductions.
Nuclear energy seems like one of our best options. Well done.
How many fossil feuls did you burn by running your computer to type your post? We should certainly conserve energy, but if you really want to go green then live in a cave with no fire or clothes.
The planet warms and cools all by itself. Is it narcissism that propels baby-boomers to think they are guilty of ruining the planet? Cap and trade will work as well as price controls worsened the Great Depression and 1973 oil crises.
Obama is a cult of personality. He is a mirror for what you want him to be. Since his father left him, he has looked to many left wing father figures, from Saul Alinsky, to Reverend Wright, to Bill Ayers. Many folks want cradle to grave gov't to be their pacifier. Go back to Burke. Read Locke, Hobbes, Montesquieu, Shakespeare, Ben Franklin, Churchill, Orwell. Don't give up your freedom for equality and full security. Life has risk.
A dialog of differing opinions is good. It does not have to be hateful. I can learn from you and you can learn from me.
Thanks, Mike.

"Extra enervation between women's corpus callosum"
Christ....
"Go back to Burke. Read Locke, Hobbes, Montesquieu, Shakespeare, Ben Franklin, Churchill, Orwell. "
Franklin was a liberal, Orwell was a socialist. Next!
Posted by: FGFM | November 24, 2008 at 11:53 AM
Franklin was a classical liberal in the Age of Enlightenment. He eventually stood for a republican democracy. Small r and small d.
He was not a liberal by todays cradle to grave Democratic Party ideals.
Orwell was a man of the left who wrote Animal Farm and 1984. These were some of the best books ever written about the dangers of socialism, communism, and Big Brother governmental intrusion.
Read the classics of Western Civilization so you can understand why freedom, ehtics, and morality are more important than equality.
Mike.
